Actor Rick May passed away from a coronavirus at the age of 79. He is best known in the gaming industry for his role as Soldier in Team Fortress 2. May also voiced characters in Age of Empires II, Star Fox 64, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves and other games.
In the new Team Fortress 2 update, Valve decided to pay tribute to legendary voice actor Rick May, who voiced a Soldier in the game. When the game loads, gamers are now greeted with an image of a soldier saluting, and a new “Salute to the Fallen” theme music plays. Additionally, players can find a bronze statue of a Soldier on every Team Fortress 2 map, along with a plaque that reads:
Rick May
1940 – 2020
“That was one hell of a campaign son!”
In addition, some maps have statues of the Soldier that say random remarks by the hero. The official website says the memorial campaign will last for a month.
The memory of Rick May will be memorialized in statues that will start speaking in the actor’s voice if any gamer decides to salute them.
How to use skins
You must have a Steam account and link it to a store account. The skins you purchased will automatically be added to your Team Fortress 2 inventory. As soon as this happens, you can use them in the game, customizing your characters.
Use skins to paint your characters' equipment, give them a unique look and diversify the gameplay. You can change the texture of weapons, accessories, skins, tools and taunts. Only your imagination determines how unique your characters will look, what weapons he will use in battle, and how he will stand out among your teammates and opponents.
