It has been reported that Team Fortress 2 has broken the record for the number of simultaneous online players. According to SteamDB, the record fell on June 25 when more than 151,000 gamers played the TF2 at the same time. This is a record for a game that was released on October 10, 2007.
The influx of users is due to the Midsummer Mashup, the game’s charity event that will be held from June 26th to 27th. All funds will go to Stop AAPI Hate, an organization that fights against hatred and discrimination against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
Unfortunately, some of the players are bots. Valve and the players themselves have been fighting them for a long time. The last update, released a few days earlier, was aimed at fighting the bots. Players have noted that their number has decreased significantly due to the measures taken, but this is probably a won battle, not a war.
How to use skins
You must have a Steam account and link it to a store account. The skins you purchased will automatically be added to your Team Fortress 2 inventory. As soon as this happens, you can use them in the game, customizing your characters.
Use skins to paint your characters' equipment, give them a unique look and diversify the gameplay. You can change the texture of weapons, accessories, skins, tools and taunts. Only your imagination determines how unique your characters will look, what weapons he will use in battle, and how he will stand out among your teammates and opponents.
